Smart metering is the digital version of measuring gas and electricity usage sending data from an energy meter real time to an electronic display. They are important as they help customers view in £’s exactly what they are using to help budget and conserve energy.
Apprentices are trained to replace and maintain meters, taking out the old meters and installing a new Smart meter for Gas and Electric. We also don’t want you to be stagnant so through time our ambition is to cross skill you into other skills like Gas boiler repairs or Electric Vehicle installation.
